Advancing both science and gender equality underline a successful and progressive society and are included in the internationally agreed Sustainable Development Goals. Significant developments in environmental sustainability in Victoria can be attributed to the dedication and hard work of many inspiring women. My office has had the pleasure to work with a diverse range of women in the science community over many years. We celebrate and thank them for their contribution towards a sustainable future.
