SoE 2018 Website

As part of our special series exploring the 13 key themes of the Victorian State of Environment 2018 Report, this week we highlight our chapter on Energy coinciding with the Commissioner of Environmental Sustainability, Dr Gillian Sparkes keynote address at the Energy Evaluation Asia Pacific Conference in Bangkok, Thailand where she is speaking along with Juha Uitto,  Director of the Independent Evaluation Office (IEO) of the Global Environment Facility (GEF) and Lucky Lontoh, Associate and Country Coordinator in IISD’s Energy program. As well as discussing her energy recommendations from the SoE 2018 that will support a low-carbon future and track the impact of energy emissions reduction to meet interim targets set under the Climate Change Act 2017, she will discuss environmental monitoring, assessment and reporting reforms in Victoria.
