ONE ON ONE – Lily D'Ambrosio - AMTIL

As part of International Womens Day, the Minister for Energy, Environment and Climate Change, Lily D’Ambrosio addressed the Legislative Assembly in the Victorian Parliament yesterday, highlighting women who are taking the lead in major reforms in energy, environment and climate change in Victoria. She cited Environment Protection Authority Victoria (EPA) Chair Cheryl Batagol PSM and new CEO Dr Cathy Wilkinson, Zoos Victoria CEO Jennifer Gray and Commissioner for Environmental Sustainability  Dr Gillian Sparkes FAICD.

She also highlighted CFA Deputy Chief Fire Officer Stephanie Rotarangi and energy leader Audrey Zibelman CEO of the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO), Paula Conboy who just completed term as Chair of Australian Energy Regulator and transformational Chairs of the Energy Security Board Kerry Schott and Clare Savage. Former Premier of Victoria Joan Kirner was also mentioned for her groundbreaking work establishing Landcare in Victoria. Says Minister D’Ambrosio: “It is Victorian women who are getting it done.”
