Commissioner for Environmental Sustainability Dr Gillian Sparkes discusses her attendance and keynote address at the Future Waste Resources Convention in Ipswich, Queensland.


The Victorian Government has announced a commitment to create a standalone Act of Parliament that – for the first time – defines the coastal land and waters that encompass the Great Ocean Road; recognises that the region is a single, integrated and living entity; and makes the management of the region publicly accountable.

The Commissioner for Environmental Sustainability Dr Gillian Sparkes delivered a keynote address 'Unlocking the Transformation of the SDGs' at the International Conference on Sustainable Development at Columbia University, New York City on 26-28 September 2018.
